Thanks, Mom and Dad!

Welcome to my latest blog!  This blog is dedicated to the memory of my Mom and Dad--they were music lovers indeed.  Daddy was a true stereophile, loving sound recordings be they record, reel to reel, or CD. Moma and Daddy always had music on in the house, particularly when I was little.  We watched music programs all the time-PBS's "Evening with the Boston Pops," Lawrence Welk, the Wilburn Brothers, Hee Haw--every type of music you can imagine. I want to share some of those great music memories here.

I remember dancing with my dad in our living room. We had the cabinet style stereo with eight track!

8-Track! When I hear that term, I think "click" as the song continues on the next track. Yes, I remember those grand cabinet models. They were like pieces of furniture. We had for years a tabletop type. THanks for sharing the happy memory about you and your Dad. I hope to have the background template for this blog next week.
