Vintage?

Well friends, this lovely photo certainly isn't about my record shelf. I love to look at old decorating books from the 60's and 70's.  Sometimes I will search on the web for "vintage" kitchens or baths. I found this picture some time back. Except for the stove and oven unit, it looks like a kitchen I would like to have today.
I love the gold and yellow tones and the beautiful cabinets.

At a Church dinner the other day (we're always eating . . . .) I talked to some friends about color trends. I can better identify color trends of yesterday than today. I asked my friend, Debbie about which colors she felt were popular today. She said "gold."  I wanted to yell, "I'm set!"  I have lots of gold like this in our home. Our home was built I think in the very early 90's so there are lots of blues throughout the house, but there is also a touch of gold in some of the wallpaper. I have made the most of that gold with my accessories.

Am I vintage or trendy? Hmmm?
